This aromatic herb is a perennial that can grow up to 4” tall. The leaves are oval and toothed, ranging between 1 ½ to 3 inches long. The inconspicuous green flowers grow in a series of spike-like clusters from August through October. The herb's complex constituents can neutralize the effects of Herpes simplex virus when applied at the first sign of a flair-up.
